The USPTO released on June 28, 2007 that the Patent Prosecution Highway Pilot Program (PPH) will now be extended. It was set to end July 3, 2007, but due to a recent change to the program, allowing PCT applications to be included, the program has been re-set to end January 3, 2008.
For those not familiar with PPH, it is a program that allows a patent application to be examined sooner that usual because the application's corresponding Japanese version's claims were determined patentable by the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
